Macumba Land of Dance® is a registered brand run by the promoters of Fitness Festival, the largest fitness Fair in the world, which is held every summer in Italy. All rights concerning the usage of the Macumba Land of Dance® name and logo are reserved by the Fitness Festival promoters.  

Notice #2

We have several competitors including Salsa Fitness, Total Dance Conditioning by Nike, Latin Cardio and others.  The companies we've mentioned have shown a sense of fair play in the way they compete on the market.  A single unnamed competitor has not. The gist of the complaints have been that we copied from them.  We won't go into details, but we felt we should clear this matter up a little bit in public.

We have not copied our system, our name or our images from any of our competitors.  If you read our "What is Macumba" page and "about our founder" you will recognize that Max built Macumba Land of Dance® from the ground up, using dance forms and fitness methods he was familiar with and excited about, and that he started working on this system in 1992 -- long before any of our competitors entered the market.

Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha Cha and most of the other international music and dance forms have been around long before any of us thought to include them in a fitness system.  Likewise for aerobics and resistance training.  There are many wonderful dance fitness systems on the market.  We encourage instructors and students to experiment with different systems themselves.  We promise we won't be offended if you try something besides Macumba Land of Dance®.

We play fair and we're not afraid of competition.  Try us out, we think you'll like Macumba Land of Dance®.
